This unique one of a kind ring was inspired by winter tree branches covered with frost. The ring is hand-carved from Precious Metal Clay (PMC) Sterling 960, tree bark textured, fired and hand polished by me. In between the branches I have set a sparkling brilliant cut Cubic zirconia.
Ring Size: 7 3/4 (UK P, Europe 18 mm)
Ring width: 9 mm at the widest point
Cubic zirconia: 5 mm
If you wish to order a different size or width, please contact me. I can make a similar ring (not exact copy!) in almost any size and width.
What is PMC Sterling 960? A unique form of sterling silver (mainly composed of recycled silver particles) suspended in an organic binder. In this clay-like state it allows PMC artists to form and sculpt metal clay by hand. When fired at high temperatures by torch or in a jeweler's kiln, the binder burns off and the silver particles are fused together. The result is a one-of-a-kind sterling silver piece (.960)
